Isn't it nice when couples can work together so well? Ayo and Aneka do eventually make peace with Wakanda's rulers. ![]() Together they roam the country, killing any man who dares to abuse his power by abusing his female subjects. With their stolen suits, Aneka and Ayo set off together to bring their own brand of justice to Wakanda's criminals. Only the most elite of the Dora Milaje are supposed to wear such armor. While she's at it, Ayo also absconds with two sets of Midnight Angel armor from the Wakandan armory. In a spectacular display of love and pyrotechnics, Ayo rescues Aneka from death row. But Ayo can't bear the thought of a world without Aneka in it. For this crime, she is sentenced to death. When he refuses, Aneka kills him, flouting the Dora Milaje's code against taking the law into their own hands. She confronts a malicious chieftain and demands that he stop mistreating the women of his village. But despite years of loyalty, Aneka ultimately found a cause more important to her than serving the Wakandan royal family. The momentous meeting occurrs at a party in Detective Comics #856, where newly-single Maggie understandably wastes no time in asking Kate for her phone number.Īyo and Aneka were members of the Dora Milaje, a band of female warriors trained to protect their king. Clearly, it was only a matter of time before Maggie and Kate, both tough-as-nails detectives determined to live how they want regardless of anyone else's prejudices, met and hit it off. In typical Luthor fashion, he has her investigated, discovers she's a lesbian, and threatens to ruin her career with the information. Not long after her first appearance, she runs afoul of Lex Luthor. Phyla-Vell, aka Quasar, is the daughter of the original Captain Marvel and also the luckiest woman in the galaxy. Moondragon mourned the end of the relationship, but then she fell in love with Phyla-Vell. The affair ended when the woman returned to her husband. Before this transformation, Moondragon had a brief affair with a married woman. This ultimately leads to her losing her human form and becoming an actual space dragon. Years later, Moondragon was possessed by the Dragon of the Moon from which she had taken her codename. The monks trained her in telepathy and a variety of other skills. Moondragon, though human by birth, was orphaned at a young age and adopted by a group of monks on Titan. ![]()
